ARCHITECTURAL MARVEL: The Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple is reflected in a pool of water. The temple, a 100-acre complex of Indian art, culture and heritage, is made of pink sandstone and white marble.
The city has a brand new landmark in Akshardham temple for people to marvel at, standing tall in Delhi on the eastern banks of Yamuna. The construction of the temple cost Rs 200 crore. Complementing the 7,000 craftsmen who built temple in a record time of five years.
